GHETTO YOUTHS INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES U.S. SPRING 2015 TOUR

Ghetto Youths International, the record label founded by Bob Marley's sons and musicians Damian, Stephen and Julian Marley, announces the U.S. Spring 2015 tour Ghetto Youths International Presents: Set Up Shop Volume 2, carrying the same name as their recently released compilation. The tours star studded reggae line up includes the GYI contingent - Wayne Marshall, Black-Am-I, Christopher Ellis and Jo Mersa – as well as Cham.  All of these artists are featured on the Set Up Shop Volume 2 compilation, which peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Reggae Album chart.

As the GYI co-founder Stephen “Ragga” Marley told Billboard, "on this album, my brothers and I share our new music and also showcase a range of new talent that is uprising in reggae. My son Jo Mersa represents the next generation and has a universal sound -- blending different genres of music with reggae and dancehall. London-based singer Christopher Ellis inherited elements from his father Alton Ellis' Jamaican rocksteady era, while mixing it with modern day soul, R&B and reggae. Dancehall vet Wayne Marshall is so versatile and can deejay or sing on any track or riddim, and reggae newcomer Black-Am-I sings from the heart of St. Ann where my father hails from making some of realest roots music. We represent the full spectrum of reggae."

WATCH E.N YOUNG'S NEWEST VIDEO "LOVE LOVE LOVE"

E.N Young's second music video off his new album dropped Tuesday! Click Here To Watch.

Listen to "Love Love Love" plus the acoustic and dub version when you buy 'Live Love Stay Up' on ITunes HERE:

E.N Young’s sophomore album, ‘Live Love Stay Up’, consists of three separate versions, an original, acoustic and dub. Each stands on its own and highlights a different strength within E.N Young's wealth of talent as both an artist and producer. Uplifting messages of love, hope and perseverance are expressed by the lyrics and strengthened by the reassuring tone of his calm voice. A vast knowledge of reggae’s Jamaican roots is demonstrated within the original version by its upbeat rhythm section, pulsing bubble organ, fierce horn section, staccatoed electric guitar and catchy melodica. Intricate layers of piano, muted acoustic guitar and rich vocal harmonies create the foundation of the acoustic version and bring E.N Young's classical music upbringing to the forefront. His bass-heavy, reverb drenched signature sound is featured on the dub version and showcases his mastery of phased out delays and percussive synths. ‘Live Love Stay Up’ will only help to solidify E.N Young’s presence as a solo artist and standing as one of reggae’s most sought after producers.

TUFF LIKE IRON Ready Fi Buss!

ABOUT THIS TUFFNESS

Born Kendra Scanlon, Tuff like Iron is a fashion designer, turned musician from
New York. As an undeniable firebrand, she is inspired by her Trinidadian heritage
and a kaleidoscopic life lived between Kingston and Brooklyn.

At the top of 2014 she released her Jah Ova Evil produced debut ‘1986 - EP’ and
has since arrested the attention of roots reggae masses with the singles ‘I’m Talking
To You’, ‘Equal Rights’, ‘Keep Your Head Up’ and ‘Mr. Babywrong’ feat Zionites.
In February 2015, her eponymous ‘Tuff Like Iron’ single appeared on the Black
Roots Riddim produced by Fyakin of Nyle Banks Music. The song is the artist’s
own affirmation of her purpose in the musical jungle. It skillfully doubles as an
anthem for all determined to rise above adversity and seek a higher consciousness.

Her upcoming single ‘Chair Gone Down’ is a lyrical call to arms against all forms
of injustice and oppression. The track can be heard on the soon to be released
‘Be Still and Know’ double disc album produced by Conscious Riddims Records.
The ‘Be Still and Know’ project will also feature roots heavyweights like Midnite, Ras Batch, Prezident Brown, Perfect Giddimani among others.

For her electric live performance style, Tuff Like Iron has been featured in the Sacramento Examiner. She has also featured on the World A Reggae network. This year, the urban-roots artist is set to appear on the cover of California based Irie Mag for its April 2015 issue.
She is currently in Jamaica working on live shows, recording new material with the Jah Ova Evil recording camp as well as filming videos for her ‘The Almighty One’ and ‘Tuff Like Iron’ single. Summer 2015 tour dates for Tuff Like Iron in the US and Europe are soon to be announced.
